thank you for your answer. I understand now what probably happened and what to do in a future case (reinstall the plugin).
As there is no visible error on my page now and WP did not send another warning I think it is resolved.Thanks,

yes, problem solved. You told me, that there was one big picture that caused the error. I took a smaller version of it – and everything works fine.Thank you for your help.

thank you for your reply. I already did this, I even cleared completely the foogallery plugin and then downloaded it again – same result.
I do not think it is an issue with my host-server, because my other pages, built in the same style (Site-Title and shortcut for the gallery) are still working. See https://www.aschihaas.ch/malediven/ . And on my localhost, all pages (including the santa-maria-page which produces online the 503 error) are working.
When I want to fix it, creating a new gallery or a new page, I get a JSON-error, Json-Answer not correct, could not save the changes.
I seems that one of my pictures or the gallery must have themething that ist not JSON-conform. What could that be?

Regards AschiNothing resolved: Fo Gallery still shows “Thumbnail generation error”. Ovverriding test and clearing cache does not help.

Besides, my provider does not habe the Module “imagick” – but I do not think this is the questeion.
My site https://aschihaas.ch is running without problems, so it seems we have no possibility to get rid of the message. Should we simply ignore it?Tanks for for any suggestion, Aschi
