You were exactly right. It was a caching problem. WP Engine wrote some exceptions and everything is working. Thanks for excellent support of this plugin. I really appreciate it and the great plugin!

I just noticed that YSlow is saying that timthumb’s cache expires on 1981/11/19. Any idea how an expires header could be set to a date in the past?
Yslow reports the main culprit to be timthumb. I tried using the most current version of timthumb, which is supposed to have fixed the expires headers problem, but to no avail.
