What version of the Android app? are you running.
There was an issue with the Android app yesterday with this, that should now be fixed in version 1.0.5 can you upgrade to this version if your not already on it?
If you are on 1.0.5 and are still getting this issue I will pass this on to our Android developer.

Could you open the developer console on the page with QR code and check the URL that is output there?
It’s probably missing “http://” or “https://” due to some server configuration and as a result the iOS app currently thinks it’s not a valid code scanned.
Version 1.2.2 has a fix for this but it’s still waiting on Apple to review.
Hopefully it gets released at some point today or tomorrow.

So the iOS app when first launched (after signup or if sign up is already complete) will go straight to the Camera view. It then turns off after a scan or when you go to the settings page.
I will add a task to our tracker to see how I could improve the app to make scanning codes easier/quicker when the camera is not already on.

There is only one change between version 1.13.2 and 1.13.3
This is in the readme file of the plugin
The change is:
* FIX: Revert Dropbox authentication change in 1.13.2, which was not working on all sites

Could you tell me what UpdraftPlus version you are running?
Also what Web Browser and version your using? and if possible could you try in another browser to see if the layout is still like the above images.
As for your backup it could take a long time if you have a large site could you please send us a copy of the latest backup log?
This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

What version of UpdraftPlus are you on?
If your UpdraftPlus install is currently connected to Dropbox then you have two options:
1) Go to the Dropbox settings and there should be a link to deauthenticate – click this
2) wipe your settingsnow after you have done this select Dropbox if not already selected and press the save button at the bottom of the page, on this newest version a pop up should appear asking you to click a link to authenticate.
Before clicking this link can you make sure your not logged in to any account on the Dropbox website, once this is confirmed click the link in UpdraftPlus
this should now take you to Dropbox and ask you to login.
Login with the correct account and finish the process it should now backup to the correct account.

You should be able to click through that warning and continue with the restore.
There is a tweak coming soon with a better warning message when UpdraftPlus detects that the URL is the same but the only difference is “http” and “https”
Note that if you do the restore you may get some redirect issues and you will need to update your site url in the WordPress settings, or the WordPress options database if you can’t access your wp-admin.

Sorry for the delay, can you confirm if your using a custom Dropbox app or not? also have you tried this with another remote storage option that needs authentication such as Google Drive? and does the same thing happen?

Glad you resolved that.
Could you check that your site url/home is actually as expected?
Also could you take a manual backup from UpdraftPlus it’s self to see if you have the same issue.
There could be some conflict if the backup is made from MainWP, but we don’t develop that so that would be an issue to bring up with them.

Hi Michael,
So any new backups you make will be from the https url so when trying to restore them you will no longer get that message.
As for the backup you currently have if you want to restore that, you should be able to just click past that warning and carry on with the restore.
This may cause some redirection problems, in which case you either need to change the site url and home url in the WordPress dashboard back to the https version or if you can’t access that due to the redirection issues you would have to change the site url and home url in the WordPress database back to the https version of the site.
We have a tweak coming soon which should detect the change in http/https and provide a better warning, than the one you recieved.

Could you try to re-authorise your connection to Dropbox and take a manual backup to see if this resolves the issue.
If not could you post the backup log from the new manual backup so we can investigate further.
