Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Block Editor show error message that JavaScript is requiredHi @mkaz – from what I know, we were waiting for WordPress to add a filter to allow plugins override block attributes.
That was worked on here: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/45451
From what I see, the update has been set to launch in WordPress v5.1. With this update, we are targeting to fix multiple issues, not just the notice that shows up at the very top of the Gutenberg editor.
For solving just the Gutenberg notice, we would be able to launch an update but I think the dev team is targeting an update that solves multiple issues so this means it might take some more time and we might need to wait till WordPress 5.1 is launched.
However, I can’t know for sure what decision the dev team will take but if any WPML update that’s fixing the notice that shows up in the Gutenberg editor will be deployed before WordPress 4.1, I will let you know here, too, as well as in the WPML ticket on our support forums.
Kind regards.

In reply to: Block Editor show error message that JavaScript is requiredHello everyone.
I have just responded here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/block-editor-shows-error-message-that-javascript-is-required
The notification should disappear as soon as we launch the update on Monday the latest and it shouldn’t affect anything on your site functionality-wise until then.
Kind regards.
