In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Missing Statistics configurationHello @stickerey ,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please share the screenshot of your “Statistics Configuration”?
This issue may be caused by an integration such as ‘Site Kit’, ‘MonsterInsights’, ‘Google Analytics for WooCommerce’, ‘GTM4WP’, or any other GTM-related implementation being enabled under Complianz -> Integrations. Disabling them should resolve the issue.
Hope it helps!Hello @snixer ,
Thank you for reaching out. This is the first time I hear about this kind of error. Could you please share a video of the issue so we can have a clear view? Additionally, could you please share which plugins you have installed on your WP instance? This will help us a lot.Alternatively, if you desire, since it is not possible to share the site’s credentials due to the forum guidelines, you can reach out to us on the support page on our website by opening a ticket.
Best regards, Antonio
Hello @lilgames ,
Thank you for reaching out and purchasing the subscription.I’m really sorry to hear that. At first, It seems like you were encountering some CSS/JS caching issues, possibly due to some REST API limitations applied to Complianz.
After upgrading to the premium version, I see that you have enabled the TCF banner. Clicking on “Manage Options” leads you to the cookie policy to give a clear view to the end user. That is completely normal, and it’s intended to work like that. Enabling the TCF adds a layer with additional guidelines to follow, this is all specified at this link.
Additionally, I noticed that the cookie categories are not showing. Since you are now a premium user, I kindly ask you to please reach out to us through our ticketing system available on our website in the support section. We cannot support Premium users due to the Forum guidelines.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Drop in Users (Google Analytics)Hello @paulda ,
Thank you for reaching out.
A drop in user data is expected when implementing a cookie banner that requires consent, especially when statistical data is not anonymized. This is because, without explicit user consent, analytics tracking is not activated, as required by regulations.
The significant decrease you’re seeing may be related to users not providing consent for non-anonymized statistical cookies. To mitigate this, you might consider enabling anonymized statistics. This way, data collection does not require consent and can provide a more accurate picture of your traffic while still complying with regulations. In alternative to this, you can force the users to make a choice applying a soft darker background behind the banner, this go away only if a choice has been made. Consider also trying to improve the style of the banner.
Regards,
AntonioHello @piccart ,
The developers have reached back and mentioned that they fixed this in version 7.1.5, addressing an issue with PDF generation using mPDF, which is executed daily through thegenerate_cookie_policy_snapshot()function.Are you using any mu-plugin that overrides the temporary path for the mPDF?

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Consent on the pageHello @daitarn3 ,
Thank you for reaching out.
Normally, the cookie policy does not have a button to accept all cookies since the user can check the individual consent categories on the page. However, if you want a button, you can un-sync the cookie policy page by following this guide: https://complianz.io/editing-legal-documents/.
Once done, the shortcode will become fully editable text, and you can insert this shortcode:[cmplz-accept-link text="Accept Cookie"]. The users can click on this that, and all cookie categories will be accepted.Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Integrations: Script CenterHello @rayeason ,
It’s safer to use an external source here or implement it manually on your site. You could either use WP Code or the Custom HTML tag on GTM, both options are fine.Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] GeoDirectory problem?Hello @patrickhaond ,
Thanks for pointing that out. Geodirectory was loading Maps too, which is why, with the ACF integration enabled, it was blocked prior to consent. However, since the issue has been solved, I’m closing this ticket. I hope this will help other users too!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Updates related to New Tag DiagnosticsHello @drigis3 ,
Thank you for reaching out.
We have already acknowledged this and it’s on our task list. We are currently working on it. Please keep in mind that this is not an issue, it’s a notice warning the user. The data will still be sent correctly. You can verify this using Google Tag Assistant.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Page is blocked from indexingHello @beachholiday ,
Thank you for reaching out.
Complianz doesn’t interfere with crawlers. Have you tried with the plugin disabled? This is more likely a problem with your site or how the theme is built.
Unfortunately, there are no settings to automatically accept the cookie when there’s a crawler acting on the site.I hope this clarifies your doubts.
Best regards,
Antonio
