In reply to: 5th from causes 406 errorI’ve just had a similar problem and can’t figure out what is causing it. All I can tell is that as long as I post a picture at the TOP of the blog entry, everything works fine. When I try to post that picture elsewhere in the entry, the picture does NOT show in the entry (only on the edit screen) and I get the strange 406 error. BTW, I only have three “from”s in my post so that’s not the problem (at least not for me).

In reply to: Where is the WYSIWYG visual editor?????Okay, after spending far too much time on this problem, I saw a suggestion to delete js folder found in wp-includes, download a fresh copy of WP 2.5 and then upload just the js folder. For some unknown reason, that worked. Why? I haven’t a clue. All I know is that this worked from me. Good luck.

In reply to: WordPress 2.5 Widget Interface – I donβt like itWell, here’s something. I just tried removing widgets using Firefox – that works. Using IE 6 does not work.

In reply to: WordPress 2.5 Widget Interface – I donβt like itI agree. I’ve got a couple of widgets that no longer work in 2.5, the broken widgets are causing my blog to load SLOWLY and I can’t remove them! Ugh! The new widget interface should have been tested before being released.

In reply to: Help! Turn Off Blog?Thank you very much – I meant to temporarily shut the whole thing done. I just found a plug-in at:
http://sw-guide.de/wordpress/plugins/maintenance-mode/
which works. I’ve got a couple of old MT blogs that housed archived copies of my WordPress blogs. For those, I changed the directory names of the server.
Thanks again, this was rather urgent.

In reply to: Is there an iTunes/iPod widget?Just bumping this up. I’ve looked all over and can’t find a plugin that allows one to review his/her own music – I really don’t care what the iTunes top ten (or whatever) is.

In reply to: WP Tag CloudThanks, the Configurable Tag Cloud Widget works like a charm.

In reply to: WP Tag CloudHi Kafkaequi,
I use the older (1.1) three column version of the Cutline theme and it does have a tag cloud (which works – up to the forty-five tag limit). I can’t seem to locate the code that pertains to it though. There is also a widget for the tag cloud in the control panel but, again, I can’t see any code to edit or locate the file that contains the code. Hope that helps.

In reply to: WP Tag CloudAha, that’s why I can find it – I’m using the 3 column Cutline theme and it doesn’t appear in either of my sidebar files. Any other ideas?

In reply to: WP Tag CloudThanks, KAfkaesqui. One other question – what file contains the location for the code you provided?
Thanks!

In reply to: WP Tag CloudI’m having exactly the same problem. After reading this post, I checked my blog and, sure enough, I had exactly 45 tags displayed. Is there a fix for this? I’ve checked other posts and can’t find an answer that works.

In reply to: Is there an iTunes/iPod widget? Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that’s one of the widgets that Apple created and it only shows music purchased from them π The bulk of my music, so far, were originally on vinyl records which I’ve converted to digital, as a result, nothing shows up using Apple’s widget. Any other ideas?
