in the gallery settings, the 2nd tab up the top there is an option in that menu for “full page” or something.
mine is doing the same thing, but not having much luck to get it fixed, and have actually stuffed up some other features in the process. lol.
seems as though i have the same problem, i have tried everything i can think of with no luck and the creator is not replying. I was getting this before the update, i installed the update to see if it would fix but no. I have a friend using this plugin and hers are working fine.
