Hi alchymyth, I have tried out your suggestions but doesn’t work with me, can you specify what part of the code I have to delete?, I think it has to be as follows in both cases but not sure:

I’m also having a problem with the layout when posting images, the division line is not in place, please can you or somebody help me with that?

I have been coding css in a child theme from the beginning to protect the original files, what I don’t understand is your suggestion about not editing twentyeleven theme, is this about to check if customisations work in other themes?.
I’m sure that it should be a code for the browser size issue, which seems quite obvious but I’m expending too much time to find it out, as soon as I get the solution I will post it here, in the meantime……….
