In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Error when activatingThe causes of that error are a total mystery as the class it says it can’t find is loaded before in include_once (‘config.php’);

Investigating adding categories introduced me to a problem that I hadn’t noticed before – adding categories to custom taxonomies doesn’t work. So that’s a fix I’m going to work on.

In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Post CategoryBut in the image you haven’t put any categories in the field Tony – you need to either place a code or your own categories in the ‘post categories’ input field
ie: [#9#], acategory, anothercategory

In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Post CategoryWhere’s the image Tony?
I was actually thinking of putting an optional stagger feature on the post creation form – say set the publish timing of five posts every five minutes or something like that

In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Post CategoryTony,
I can’t reproduce that error.
I wiped the Affiliate Hoover data on my local set up and I tried out a few feeds. If a parent category form the drop-down is picked then the created categories are created as children the selected category.
Some thoughts. Are you sure the you picked the right code, ie: [#0#],[#1#],[#2#] and so on?
Another thought, do you have more that one taxonomy? If you do then it is not possible to pick which set of taxonomies to use.
In fact, I’ve some time to kill today so I’m going to add that as a feature.

In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Error when activatingSorry, I’ve been busy elsewhere over the last couple of days
Needless to say, that shouldn’t be happening
I can’t replicate those errors on my server
I know what is causing it – those lines of code were put there to prevent conflict with another addon
Try version 1.08 and see if that rectifies the issue

In reply to: [Affiliate Hoover] [Plugin: Affiliate Hoover] Activation ErrorPHP versions 5.3 and above only. Just ask your hosting provider to upgrade.
I’ll have to put a more strict warning on the info details.
I’ll have to look into it because the addon shouldn’t install with PHP below 5.3 and instead produce an explanation why. It’s clearly not doing that.

I’ll have to look into it because the module shouldn’t install with PHP below 5.3 and instead an explanation is created. It’s clearly not doing that.
