Dear @davilera,
Thanks a lot for pointing this out and sincere apologies for this. We did the changes for jquery-ui.js and will push them in next plugin release.
Regarding jQuery-ui.css, there doesn’t seem to be any style sheets provided by WordPress and we are supposed to render them by uploading to our plugin or via CDN. Is that’s acceptable or is there any other alternative for that as we can’t restrict our style sheet to only admin pages. The reason for the same is that our plugin is being used in editors that are not on admin pages.
Dear @sherrywp,
Regarding your second query for grey box issue, may you please clarify this issue in detail. We are not able to follow you from the information provided. Also, it would be great if you share some screenshots also(by uploading them to Drive and sharing the link here).
Dear @sherrywp,
Regarding your first query for permissions, the easiest way is to change the downloads folder for ‘GeoLite2-Country.mmdb. This can be done by:
1. Go to AmazonAssociatesLinkBuilder plugin’s settings page.
2. Go to Downloads Folder textbox under Site Wide Settings.
3. Enter the path where you have all read-write permissions and Save the changes. But if you still want to remain on the same path, do the following:
1. Go to your upload path for WordPress which seems to be “/home/whatchil/public_html/wp-content/uploads/” from your comments above. And see if “amazon-associates-link-builder” is present or not.
2. If not, it means the above path doesn’t have write permissions. Please give read-write permissions to above upload path.
3. If “amazon-associates-link-builder” exists, still give recursive read-write permissions to above upload path. If you don’t know how to do that, give read-write permission to both upload path & “amazon-associates-link-builder” folder.
4. Check read-write permission for “‘GeoLite2-Country.mmdb” file and give the same to this file.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] Keep getting an Error for the GeoLite2Dear @sherrywp,
We will surely assist you. We replied to your thread https://wordpress.org/support/topic/maxmind_geolite2geolite2-country-mmdb-file-is-not-in-my-cpanel.
Please note that this thread was created just a day back and you should give us some time to reply to that.Dear @sherrywp,
The Geo-targeting feature available from v1.5.2 of the plugin uses GeoLite2-Country.mmdb file. The error is due to the improper read-write permissions given to the plugin upload path and will not affect any functionality of plugin except restricting the use of the geotargeting feature. You can fix that by either giving proper read-write permissions to /home/whatchil/public_html/wp-content/uploads/ or by going to going to the plugin’s settings page & changing upload path to the path that has proper read-write permissions.

In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] Problema pluginDear @tonibf,
The minimum supported PHP version for this plugin is 5.4.0. Although, instead of showing an error message and deactivating the plugin, it is giving a fatal error. We are working to fix that. Meanwhile, please update to PHP version >= 5.4.0 as even after the fix, you will not be able to use the plugin with a version < 5.4.0.
Sincere apologies for all the inconvenience caused due to the same. In case your PHP version>=5.4.0 and you are still facing the issue, please feel free to report so that we can dive deep to find the root cause.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Amazon Associates Link Builder] The plugin crashed my siteDear users,
- Regarding
Error in maxmind_db_manager:get_db:::WP_ERROR: Forbidden,
this is dumped in logs when plugin is not able to contact maxmind to download GeoLite2 Database for IP2Country feature & reason for this error is that your hosting provider is forbidden to access this link to download maxmind db for some reason. This is not a fatal error and will only block you from using geo-targeted links feature - Regarding the users facing issues in activating the plugin or the ones whose site got crashed on the update, please note the following:
