It is not logical that the field “description” is taking it as “alt”, although if you mention that it is correct, it will be correct.
If the field “description” is taking it as “alt”, the first field that appears in the screenshot. What function does it have? Where is this text reflected?
Right now we have all the images with the “alt” repeated, thinking that the description is doing correctly its function, although you indicate us that the description really is the “alt”.

We have cleaned the cache of the server, we have cleaned and deactivated the cache plugins of the backoffice of the web page and we have cleaned the cache in the “Miscellanous” section of the NextGen Gallery but the problem remains the same.

First of all, thank you for answering.
The lightbox effect being used is “Fancybox”, although I think it has nothing to do with the error we are communicating.
The title and ATL field is the same, that’s correct. The problem is that we indicate an ALT/Title to an image and when we review the source code of any NexGen Gallery image and the ALT/Title attribute is not synchronized with the ATL/Title that we have indicated in the Backoffice, in its case it is using the description field.
Is the problem clearer now?

Does it happen to you that instead of alt, the image takes you the description as alt?
It’s very strange, but recently, when I access the element inspector and analyze the alt of any Nextgen Gallery image, the description appears in the ALT field. I think it’s a serious error of the plugin…
