No problems and I must thank you for still helping me!

    Sure!

My browser is Cent Browser, version: 4.3.9.248 (Official Build) (32-bit) (Chromium 86.0.4240.198)
*It also occurred with other browsers such as Brave Browser, version 1.26.74 Chromium: 91.0.4472.124 (Official Build) (64-bit) and DuckDuckGo(Mobile Browser), version: 5.87.0)
**Both Cent and Brave seems to be uptodate

I did what you told me however it was thousands of lines to give you only a single screenshot, so I took one screenshot of the first thing that appeared and I also copied the whole file to a notepad++ with .java extension. I tried to find something of different color (red) to pinpoint an error to give you a better screenshot but I ve never saw one.

I am not sure if thats what you really wanted or needed, so if you need anything else just please tell me and I will try and do that

I also did it for both browsers (cent and brave). I uploaded everything here

    Thank you!

Both companion and the theme are updated to their latest versions in this site

Sure, after reading your messsage i got in contact with hostgator and updated my php from 7.2 to 7.4 on both sites
But i still have the same problem with the customizer

I still have this error in the customize page :
Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid of unexpected token
    customizer-controls.js?ver=1.8.3.4:1
And apparently its only when im using blocksy theme

    My companion version is 1.8.6.4

I found out in developer options in the customize page the following issue in the Console tab:

Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid of unexpected token
    customizer-controls.js?ver=1.8.3.4:1

Googled it but could not find something to solve it

I have another site in the same hosting and the customizer is working, however i never updated to the latest version, it is still the 1.8.3 and 1.8.6.1 for the companion (but you told me its working fine on your end so probably updating is not the issue)
In this second site I dont have this syntax error, so can i assume that that is actually the issue?
Uploaded a picture for the errorsyntax error

Do you know how can i solve this?
    Thanks

Im using wordpress hosting plan in hostgator (from brazil) and this site is also in sitelock via hostgator
I got in touch with hostgator to renew ssl and they told me there is no issues with my site in their end aswell
I cleared all caches just in case, also without success

    Hey

Well, I did what you told and deactivated every plugin and i still cant use the customize
    I also tried different browsers
I uploaded a video to the link so you can see whats really happening although i could only record it with my phone so the quality is not really good

In the video the companion is active but i also tried deactivating it

I just dont know what i can do anymore

    (@alexvis)

Yes. I uploaded the pic to the link for the companion in case you wanna check
And now I rolled back again to make the theme usable but now I have the same issues, even with 1.8.3
I even imported a backup that i Had when i first rolled back and it was working but no success

    Thread Starter alexvis

    (@alexvis)

Yes, everything is updated to their latest versions
The problem is with the version 1.8.3.4. I rolled back to 1.8.3 just to test and it worked fine but when i updated again to the latest version I still get the same problems

Oh, ok thank you very much!

Is it better if i imported a previous site version without this width issue before i update the theme with the the bug fix or i can leave it be as it is and then the update is just gonna fix this without me having to do anything?
