I have the same problem, even I changed permissions to the file 777 nothing changed. This is not working and i had to deactivate the plugin because of this 🙁

I reinstalled WordPress, disable all plugins, and other themes, but it doesn’t work at all, I was supposed to lunch the site today! In my case started once I installed “Sucuri plugin” and “jetpack plugin”.
Please any help!
