The problem is I uploaded the sidebar widgets file, and activated it, but when I go to presentation> I don’t see the sidebar widgets item.
Is there something else I need to do to get it to show??
Actually all the plugins I have installed and activated dont show. What gives??

I solved this problem again. It seems when the wp-cache is enabled it throws the “A” character all over my posts.
Disable the wp-cache and the “A” is no more.
PROBLEM RESOLVED!
Will not having cache pages negatively effect my blog anyway?
Also will there be a patch that can solve this problem for the cache situation??
Any ideas or suggestions?

QUERY:
I’m using the blix theme, and wanted to know if it is widget compatible???
The reason I ask is because I have a add to my yahoo button plugin installed and activated by default, but I don’t see a yahoo button on my pages. Why is this??

I just went to my control panel and started another page. I gave it the title “About” and that’s all.
When I view the page, the A with the carrot on top appears, and I didn’t even type anything, except the title about.
What is making this letter appear?????

When I save it as you specified it still doesn’t revert to its original appearence. They still look like notepad files!

I looked in my backup file that I created but I don’t see the wp-config.php file. I guess they don’t let you back that info up. Or either I’m not looking in the right spot. I don’t know-
Also I called my host and they said they couldn’t help with that, they directed me back here. So they ain’t worth nothing.
I probally have to install from scratch.

You were correct about everything, like I said I’m new at this tech stuff so I guess I’m learning the hardway.Anyway I did backup my site, I have a copy of it on my hard drive.
I’ll do as you suggest and call my host and see If the can help with this issue. Otherwise I’ll just install a whole new blog.Thanks for your help
