I understand that you will be marking the thread as resolved, but actually the case is not resolved unfortunately.

It sounds like all is working fine with only the Storefront theme and WooCommerce active, is that correct?

No, it is not correct. It is not the theme, The problem is in the download links both , the one that client receives from email, and the one that shows up in his account. Both of them derive the client to a wrong page. In both cases he receives that alert of “file not found” or “Sorry, this is not a downlodable file. Go to store ”

Hi Mirko!

Thank you so much for the tips.

While I did do most of the movements (the usual ones) in order to look for plugins conflict (for example, changing themes to 2017, de-activating and re-activating plugins, etc) , some of them I did not know of so I will be trying those resources.

pinned in the forum for the loading issue?

Here is the screenshot where you can see Elementor does not stop loading, and Update button is grey instead of green.

Hello again,

I was instructed to double check in my CPanel: hosting/scripting_config/ssi/error_logs and there are no error logs registered for this website.

However my hosting provider wrote:

After contacting WordFence support, if any server settings need to be updated from our end, please let us know.

Today a WordFence note showed up again in my Dashboard, perhaps I should do something about it. (this is the second time I get this alert)

Yes, I have deactivated all plugins and the redirections issue has been fixed.
I don´t know if WORDFENCE is causing issues as it is still causing conflict with Elementor as I can no longer edit with Elementor unless I have Wordfence de-activated.
So, I really don´t know if it is conflicting with Woocommerce too.

While some issues have been resolved, the following two still remain to be solved.

a) Download link still retrieves the same error as is shown in point 2 below. Here is the string you will see in the nav bar together with Query Monitor alert:

b) Regarding point 3 below, I really cannot say if this has been completely fixed as this error was showing up only at times. These days I could log in without issues with a “client” test account of my own. My question here is: Is there a way to doble-check this issue without the need of making a purchase? Otherwise, I will make a purchase with new client in order to see if these “account” issues (point 3) are completely fixed and Woocommerce creates account and recognizes passwords.

Now, because I sell restricted content, it is priority issue that the download button be fixed, since it continues to retrieve errors

2) The download link retrieves errors
Download links both in Notifications and within the Account/Orders are now showing broken links. You would see alerts like of “File not found” , or “This is not a download link, Go to Store” as you can see in woocommerce-error-message-bad-links.jpg (1366×860) (recorreba.com)

3) At times, certain users could not log in. They needed to change password again and again and system did never recognize user. He would be constantly forced to reset password saying password was incorrect. It only worked when I changed passwords from CPanel

Well, I´m glad that you could finally open the files

About Query Monitor.
Yes, I am aware it is huge, but I installed it and kept it installed in order to help anyone helping me read the errors. I don´t know what they mean and I installed Query Monitor in case it could help trace the origin of this issue.

As you suggested, I have deactivated QueryMonitor and the issue still persists.

So sorry to say that Elementor only edits with WordFEnce deactivated.

Any further ideas will be so much appreciated.

Hello again.

So sorry to hear that you still cannot access them. Did you try clicking on them several times, or cleaning browser cache??

I don´t think it is a CloudFlare issue as I work on CloudFlare Develpment Mode Please notice that I can reach those images even from my cell phone.

However,yesterday my hosting provider configured to NOT PROTECT these files from .htaccess. so they should be available for now if you may want to try again.

I hope you can access them now

Does all your levels have Non-member action=Tease & include, or do you have any levels with Redirect?

There were no Redirects: At the moment of the issue All Access Levels were properly configured to Tease & Include.

Now, prior to this issue, yes, there had been Redirects to 3 Access Levels (redirecting to “arquitectura-en-argentina”

So sorry as I must have misunderstood your instructions in ticket  https://wordpress.org/support/topic/everything-messed-up-please-help/, where you wrote

“If you have any levels that do not have any Access Conditions/Capabilities, they are redudant and will likely interfere with other levels.
You should be able to safely remove any level with 0 access conditions and capabilities. Generally, you only need access levels for users who you want to have exclusive access to something.E.g. if you have some content you don’t want logged-out users to see, you should create an access level for logged-in users and add the content to that level.”


After that ticket I removed those levels and after having removed them, strangely enough redirection still persisted. (even when, as I say, all Redirects had been removed.  No red alarms of “Not Set” were showing

By that time I had 3 levels with access to all pages and posts except for restricted content. After your explanation, I understood that I had to remove them because of possible conflict risks.  Today, they are re-enabled and luckily, the redirection issue has been fixed. These 3 levels do redirect to “arquitectura-en-argentina” They are “Subscriber” “Client” and a new one which showed up in the list (not logged in-Level Name 5958-) Their settings are identical, https://recorreba.com/CAPTURA-PANTALLAS/restrict-user-access-client-settings.jpg

You explained “Existing levels configured with Syncrhonized Role will continue to work as is” but I don´t know if things have changed so far.

It is so strange that you cannot access.

I tried from Incognito mode and could access without issues.
I also could access after having logged out as admin. Both ways I can open every link without issues.

I have just asked my hosting provider to explore the isue. Hopefully the issue should be fixed shortly, I would suggest that you try again later

Hello, @wfadam

Thank you so much for your help, however the tip you have just provided did not resolve the issue. I followed every step of your suggestion and the issue still persists, I cannot edit with Elementor while having WordFence active.

Please notice that this is something new. Both these plugins have been acting together without problems.

Under “Allowed Services” I have the following enabled except for ManageWP.

Could this be causing the issue??? Any special settings to be applied??
