In reply to: [NinjaWeb Smart Media Optimizer] Filter issues – kills the pagev1.0.2 appears to be the fix. Tried the known settings that cause a crash but that worked OK and in all variations. So tried combinations of all the other possibilities and all worked OK. Well done!

In reply to: [NinjaWeb Smart Media Optimizer] Filter issues – kills the pageNo change: Using the filter options JPG, Not Optimsed, 20 it immediately crashed – but I could now see the error message as it didn’t appear on a black background.
There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.
FYI: I ran the filter using just each of the Image Types and no other option – all OK. I then tried The Status options, All, Optimised and Not Optimised and Not Optimised gave the same fatal error.
No error log or php errors
URL when error happens: https://dronepilotsuk.co.uk/wp-admin/upload.php?ninjsmme_filter_nonce=c22dbaac7f&_wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2Fupload.php%3Fpage%3Dninjaweb-smart-media-optimizer&page=ninjaweb-smart-media-optimizer&ninjsmme_search&ninjsmme_mime_type&ninjsmme_optimized_status=unoptimized&ninjsmme_per_page=20The Media Library is displaying in Grid view but if this is also an option in the plugin I can’t see it, so I am using the default view in the plugin.

Filter = It varies. And it is not repeatable a second time. The first time I checked Oversized Only, clicked filter and got the error. I tried again with vaious options and the error never happened. I have had the error on other options but again just the once e.g. Images to JPEG and filter = crash. Hit back and reset and all is OK.
If I log out and back in I can repeat; for example I tried Images to JPEG and it crashed just the first time. Log out and go back in again and choose PNG, Not Optimised and 50 per page it crashes. Hit back and try again and it’s OK.
Page seen = the media optimiser page accessed from the Media panel.
PHP error log = empty.
Error msg = 1. Very hard to see as it appears as blue/black text in a black background. 2. The error message is “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums...”
Browser = Firefox (latest, no extensions except Lastpass) on Windows 11
PHP version = 8.2.31
Other plugins = no other media management plugins installed.
Console text on a crashed page = with filter JPG, Not Optimsed, 20 (this one seems very repeatable)GEThttps://dronepilotsuk.co.uk/wp-admin/upload.php?ninjsmme_filter_nonce=083e6614eb&_wp_http_referer=/wp-admin/upload.php?page=ninjaweb-smart-media-optimizer&page=ninjaweb-smart-media-optimizer&ninjsmme_search=&ninjsmme_mime_type=image/jpeg&ninjsmme_optimized_status=unoptimized&ninjsmme_per_page=50[HTTP/2 500 1546ms]

In reply to: [Postie] Category selectionAh, thanks Wayne. It5’s overkill for my needs as I only do this two or three times a year. But thanks for the response.
Yeah, I gave up trying to connect ACF with Forminator. Have completed the project by coding my own forms. But thanks for your initial assistance.
After the re-boot the form was incomplete as suspected. I rebuilt the missing 16 elements but saved the form after each element. I now have a complete form, published and I am testing it now to see how it works with ACF and creating a CPT.
I left the PC on last night, so I am able to provide the console errors (snipboard.io) but I am going to have to shut down the browser and re-boot, so I am going to lose half or more of the form I can’t save. So I’ll attach the screenshot, shut down and start over and look forward to yopur follow up.
Many thanks @sucuri1
I can confirm that the issue occurred on Siteground. I have over a dozen sites using Sucuri on Siteground and have been for several months but this is the first time the SALTS auto update killed my wp-config.php and brought a site down.
Over the weekend the LOGGED_IN_KEY acquired *\ as the last two characters. This made the remaining lines become commented out lines and thus broke wp-config. Replaced the first 8 SALT keys and all was OK. SG support contacted but was unable to find a cause. SUCURI automatically updates!!! Found the auto update on Jan 25th at 17:37.

In reply to: [Ajax Search Lite - Live Search & Filter] Search results gives some 404 pagesErnest,
Thank you – you hit the nail on the head. I’ve removed the Envira Gallery from the post types and the error vanishes.
Many thanks
Opening the default tab is fine for the casual visitor but if you want to direct some specifically to the fourth tab in the page you don’t want to default tab (usually going to be the first tab) to open…you want their full attention on the fourth tab’s content.
Thanks. Personally I would like an option to create links that open a page and scroll to and open a named tab.
I have a client page that has a dozen tabs with tabular data in each tab. Before that they had a dozen different pages but I felt a single page was a better option but hadn’t considered their links throughout the site that pointed to these individual pages! My bad!
🙂

Caching is definitely disabled for those pages.
