Thank you Ravan, I am using Easy Fancybox for other images and for some video files. I wonder what broke the perfectly functioning relationship. I will check to see if NGG setting handles the other images and videos.

I got it to work by choosing Fancybox in Lightbox settings in NextGEN. I have been using None and allowing Easy Fancybox handle it and it was fine. I am not sure if this is a workaround or solution.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Interface questionsI put CloudFlare in maintenance mode and cleared the cached. That worked! The message disappeared. However, when I brought CloudFlare back, the message appeared. I do not want to clear all my CF cache to get rid of the message. If you are confident that the problem is solved I will live with the message until CF renews the cache for SlimStats pages. I can delete them one at a time, but too aggravating.
So many variables!

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Interface questionsJason, I am sharing two screen captures, one with ad blocker on and one off. When the ad block is turned off the layout looks fine but the warning message remains at the top. Is it possible to turn your ad block message off programmatically?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Interface questionsJason, I see the message, the plugin must have upgraded. I see the message although I can clearly see the proper layout and the ad blocker is disabled. The way it is written may create a different kind of confusion. May I suggest a little change, it currently reads as is the display is not proper. You may either check the status of the ad blocker and display this message if it is active, or indicate that the layout “may not be proper” rather than the definitive language used that the necessary scripts and CSS “are not loading.”

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Interface questionsI am glad to be of help. Partly because I designed interface, and mainly because I have made these mistakes before!
Thank you,

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Interface questionsHello Jason, it turned out that all my questions were related to the adblocker in the browser. The second question puzzled me, now I understand why. When the adblocker is enabled the settings screen is totally different. Instead of seeing “Client” or “Server” slider, it shows only a checkbox.
Now, my question will take a different turn. Is it possible to check for the presence of an ad blocker and warn the user? Or at least a general comment in the interface. There was a message at the top of all screens with a button “I got it” which did not do anything. Perhaps you could add a message there “If this message does not slide up and disappear, you may have an ad blocker enabled.” or something like that.
I am all set but the interface may need ad least a minimal alert message.
Thank you for a very quick and accurate answer.

OK, I deleted the most recent post and published its copy and all seems to be fine now. Until it stops working again! 😉

Bummer! I had to post in that narrow time window! I can publish a dummy post and see what happens. If not, I will wait until the next post.

Puzzle gets bigger! I checked Google+, Twitter, and Tumblr, the new post did not appear on them either.
Cemal
Alas! It never appeared on my page, I had to manually add it to my personal timeline. Interestingly, I checked the warnings too and the first time around it found no warnings but on second and subsequent crawls the warnings came back. I took one of my posts about metadata on my page and crawled it again but the wrong image persists there.
I will try a different share plugin for facebook to see if that makes any difference. Thank you.

The above link no longer has a meta slider inserted, I have removed it as well as the plugin.
Cemal
Correction!
The behavior returned with all the warnings, perhaps even a few new ones despite the fact that I have totally removed the print style block. I cannot find any difference among posts that produce warnings and those that do not. On the following stream of posts:
http://www.keptlight.com/blog/some will produce more warnings than others. I know for a fact that they all have explicit featured images specified and the og:image property is properly present in the head section.
I think it is time for me to throw my hands and give up!
