In reply to: [The Events Calendar] No events displayed… againHi @cgraphik, no worries here. Let’s see, I suspect that it could also have something to do with the third-party SEO plugin you’re using here. Were you able to test for conflicts?
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Yes, recreating the events could also be the solution. However, you’re right that’s not a permanent solution. I’d need any findings you can share with me. It would be really helpful.
Please do keep me posted.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events Calendar will not display future monthsHi @adjamesmd7, thanks for sharing more information here with @d0153. That’s definitely weird. Could you try flushing permalinks and see if that makes a difference? A common fix is to flush your permalinks by going to Settings → Permalinks and simply clicking the Save Changes button.
Also, I wasn’t able to load the URL you provided here → http://www.mishkandavyid.com/. Could you provide me with the correct URL? I would also like to check your website if I can see something unexpected there.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @imc67, I wonder if it has something to do with WP Rocket settings. Could you try following the article here on how to set it up with The Events Calendar? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/using-the-events-calendar-with-wp-rocket/
Please keep me posted.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Migration problemHi @jkengineer, no worries here. You can also try that, but please do keep a working backup of your website just in case, and to be safe, please test it out on a staging site.
Please do keep us posted.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 404 error with some past event archive pagesHi @nancyhildebrandt, yikes. Perhaps you’re in to something here, since we have no luck in recreating the issue on our end even using the custom snippet here.
It would be good if you could try to debug it more on your end as to which you mentioned here. If it still persists perhaps manually updating and recreating it as a last resort.
As always, to be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Appreciate your patience so far here, Nancy and thanks for working with me on this. Please do keep me posted.
Best,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] All event display the same name on backendHi @sanbrill, thanks for checking it out. I wonder if you’re using any caching third-party plugin or server-side. By any chance you could also share it with us?
Also, in regard to events not saving on the back end while updating, we’re still working on this. You could use Chrome in the meantime as a workaround. See the known issue info here: Cannot update event that has a venue assigned.
Appreciate your patience and thanks for working with me on this.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] All event display the same name on backendHi @sanbrill, I am curious if you have enabled the Month View Cache option under Events → Settings → Display → Viewing → Enable the Month View Cache. Could you try disabling it? Then clear caching and flush permalinks and see if that makes a difference.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events cannot modifiedHi @eefgoes, this is a known issue → Cannot update event that has a venue assigned. For now please use Chrome for accessing your admin dashboard and updating the events.
Apologies for the inconvenience here. We’d notify everyone here whenever there are updates.

In reply to: [GigPress] Gigpress discontinued, converting to TEC?Hi @cstokley, apologies for the delay here. Transition to The Events Calendar is easy as well and the plugin is fairly straight forward — just like GigPress with more features.
You should be able to export all data from GigPress, and I can see you already saw the migration article to The Events Calendar here. You should be able to export the data and use the same file and do the following:
- Import Venues
- Import Organizers
- Import Events
This would be the default recommended import procedure, if you use the same file and you import the venues and organizers first, then when you import the events, the connection will be made.
See the article here ⬇️:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
