Wrong Country Code

    So I am having a few customers a day, randomly – let us know that at checkout, they are not able to check out because the country code is invalid. The customers are in the US and we are receiving plenty of other orders. We havn’t been able to isolate a browser issue or replicate the issue, but they continue to have the issue. We have 2 payment options Paypal standard and paypal advanced. Both options don’t let the patient checkout due to the invalid country code.

    Any advice or other people experiencing this issue? afraid we are losing sales with the people that don’t reach out to us.

    I am getting these errors on the checkout page if this helps. The customers have been using different browsers, so its not a browser thing that I can see. I can’t replicate it myself, but we are getting plenty of phone calls/emails about it.

    Kryzsztof,
    I have changed both extra fields added by the plugin to remove the – and add an _.

    We will see if that helps (also deactivated two plugins that don’t need to be there until I need them)

    We will see how the day goes and I’ll let you know.

    So from 5 days ago until this afternoon, we have not had any complaints.

    All of a sudden, again we have seen the wrong country code (with a proper country selected) pop up again. I updated jigoshop this morning.

    Any clues?

    All people that have complained have all been our base country – USA addresses.

    Just got my first email about someone outside the US having the issue – from Canada.

    It isn’t anything to do with the payment gateways either as i have both paypal advanced and regular – neither option will allow them to “place an order

    I have sent that information to you.
    That would be great to get some debug info on it. Its the strangest thing, but keeps happening. We can’t reproduce it either but our clients are telling us over phone/via email and we can’t find a work around for them.

    Hi,
    So I have jigoshop completely updated. At around 9:45am california time, a customer called and said they had the problem. Unsure if you needed the time, but let me know. I’m sending this info via email as well.

    Please update to 1.17.5.1 or above (1.17.6 was just released) – I believe it was resolved
