works for custom post type but not regular posts

    Thanks for the message. That’s really strange – it sounds like a theme or plugin conflict.

    [display-posts category=”video”] should display a list of most recent posts in the video category.

    You might try using the Health Check plugin, then go to Plugins and click “Troubleshoot” under Display Posts to disable all plugins except Display Posts for your user only. IF that resolves the issue, you can activate plugins one-by-one to identify the conflict. You can also go to Themes and change themes for your user to see if it’s a theme issue.

    thanx, bill, i installed & activated Health Check & Troubleshooting, and d.p. worked as expected with all plugins enabled in troubleshooting mode.

    disabled t.smode, previewed parent & another theme, in neither case did d.p. work, so not theme:-\

    so i copied the shopitem d.p. shortcode into the video page(just changing limit=2), and it works, while the category shortcode on the same page fails:-\

    let me try the category s.c. on another website that is using d.p.

    sorry, got distracted…i did try the category s.c. on another website that is using d.p. and it works fine…still no juoy on bostoncamerata.org/media/video/

    any other ideas?
