I installed a WordPress widget called “Arbitrary text and HTML” onto the footer of my newsmagazine http://www.buellreview.com and the widget is called “BlogRoll” and only one name listed “www.newsninja2012.com. I want to either eliminate or alter this widget, and add to it in the text box, but I can’t find it and I did disable all my JetPack plugins, so it isn’t one of those! How do I get to where this widget is?

Ok I switched back to Theme Alley Destro. Pro like I had before and my main sidebar is totally gone again!

It would appear that THEME ALLEY has some serious problems! I don’t know why the sidebar doesn’t work but it’s only with this theme that I’m having problems!

Sigh. I really like this one too and I paid for Theme Alley Pro. I’ll give them a chance to fix it, but if all else fails, I’ll get my money back and move on!

    tskk

Theme Alley destro pro doesn’t have any problems.
Don’t go into phpmyadmin and change anything.
Please create a new WordPress install with out any plugins and activate the pro version.

It will take 2 minutes to install new WP via Cpanel.

I haven’t changed anything. I was with Esmi on tech support for most of the evening and with Hostgator yesterday. My sidebar went down on my dashboard as soon as my entire site was uploaded. I’ll try what you said and I really hope it works because this is a beautiful and attractive format. But every time we switched back to Twenty Twelve, everything works as it should. How do I hold all my work in the meantime? will it be saved if I do this? Or will I have to make a backup?

I only did what Esmi told me to and my problems existed long before that.

Do I uninstall my 3.5.1 wordpress application on my computer or in my host server?

    (@mrbenz7)

Esmi came to the conclusion that the problems had to do with theme alley since she couldn’t find any problems after she went over application in Twenty Twelve if that helps.

You can keep everything where it is now, logo into cpanel, go to fantastico and install WP in a new folder, say http://www.buellreview.com/testing123/

When the testing is done you can simple delete this installation via fantastico.

So you want me to remove the copy of wordpress I have and install another? cPanel is not going to let me install another wordpress application until I remove the first one. This means I lose my website right?

    tskk

    (@tskk)

I am the developer of that theme and i don’t think there is anything wrong with the theme. Its used by many and never had this complaint.

I believe you, but it’s happened mnevertheless. Look, I’m up for whatever it takes to get this one going.

It’s not going to go. I keep getting an error from Fantastico either I cannot install another application of wordpress to this domain or when creating another file folder for the directory=error, wordpress cannot be installed in this file. Invalid directory.

    tskk

    (@tskk)

Do not delete anything, you don’t have to. cpanel will let you install as many as installations as you want.

let me put a tutorial together.

I’d hate to shut down my site and start over. doing this will definitely make the spider bots view me with disgust, Lol!
