OK, give me a few minutes and I’ll be right back!
Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
I can’t get this to work either! nothing is happening with print screen!
Yes Esmi. I did this! The whole right hand side of my WordPress dashboard is MISSING!
Yes Esmi, I tried deactivating my plugins. that didn’t help a thing. my problem is not with plugins, my problem is with WordPress! The wole right side of my dashboard on the widget page is missing. It went down after my website went live and I’ve been having problems ever since!
my problem is not with plugins, my problem is with WordPress!
No – this problem is specific to your site. So we need to troubleshoot your site. Did you carry out all of the steps I suggested above?
BUT I used to have a right hand side bar on mmy dashboard that showed the layout of the widgets and once my site went live, this has disappeared too. I’ve been trying to take a screen shot of my dashboard page because I’m not sure anyone understands what I’m talking about. I have a windows 8 machine.
The right hand side is where I could drag and drop my widgets and accessories for my website. it’s gone.
Can we see your site using the 2012 theme and no active plugins?
Ok, let me switch to that.
Ok, it’s up in Twenty Twelve.
Now please deactivate ALL of your plugins.
Ok, it’s up in Twenty Twelve format
Ok. done Jetpack is disabled and my plugins are a:0:[]
