It happened for a while.
Whenever I place a link in a post, if the url link to other site is also running wordpress, the link automatically transfer into a box with a description.
example:
It will automatically transfer into this a box with a short description. It clickable tho. but I don’t like it. I had to hyperlink it so I will remain the same as the url. non wordpress site link is fine.
What the hell was that, and how can I disable this function. It happened in a major upgrade in wordpress, I forgot which version.

Hi, @davikk. What you’re describing sounds like the embeds feature added in 4.4.
If you don’t like this feature, you could use the Disable Embeds plugin.
