I have now found that the widget controls are dependant on the ones in the main settings page.
If for example, as I did, you set the widget to display 5 events you have to set the same value on the main settings page.
Was it intended that it would work like this?

No that is not intended. Thank you for pointing it out so I can look into it for a fix.

I have my widget set to List and show 7 events but it is not working correctly. Instead it is showing only the events in one week time period. The only way I can get it to show more than 1 week at a time is to change the settings to Custom Date Range but then it shows all the events for the next 2 years since that is the setting in my main calendar. http://www.dfpta.com Plugin version 2.2.1
