Why /’upgrade/’ to 2.0.3?

    As far as I can tell, the only value-add of 2.0.3 is the introduction of nonces to protect the admin pages instead of relying on referrers.

    Looking at all the upgrade problems posted on this forum, it must be pretty buggy…

    There’s a security fix as well as a podcaste fix and Moveable Type fix.

    Only major issue I’ve seen is with the comments.

    There is more than one security fix. And with this plugin to fix the comment editing bugs, it should be fine.

    It’s nice to have that patch from Mark Jaquith, but the WP folks should deal with this. Either post instructions on how to modify the broken code or release 2.0.4.

    I’ve successfully installed it at this point.
