    Maybe I’m stupid, but I’ve watched the tutorial video and still can’t figure out how this works? Where do I put the URL’s that are connected with the keywords? The example shows words like ‘economic’, and after finishing the post has the word ‘economic’ linked. But to what post/URL? How can it link to just keywords? I’m really confused about this.

  • Hello,

    you do not have to put any URLs connected to keywords. You just specify keywords and the plugin creates links automatically. In FREE version links are created randomly. In PRO plugin version you can specify from what particular post / page to which one you want to build links.

    I still don’t understand. The free version picks keywords from random pages and link them to random pages where those keywords also excist?

    Yes, you are right.

    NOTE: This internal linking is done within one category.

    Ok, that’s not how I want to do create links. I assume that the PRO version has manually settings of keywords and URL’s?

    In PRO plugin version you can custom your links, selecting manually from which specific post / page / category to which particular post / page / category to create links. You will not have to put URLs, you have to put only keywords.
    So, firstly, you tick off from what post to what to build links, then you type keywords and start linking process. PRO version allows to build links in all directions (posts, pages, categories) that you choose manually by yourself.

    I write a blog about genealogy, so all my posts have keywords like ancestors, birth certificates, heritage, family tree. If I understand it correctly, with your plugin I’m not in control which word (in a post) links to which post as it all goes automatically based on keywords?
    Or do I have to be very strict adding the keywords to a post, to prevent ‘wild linking’?
    Is there a tutorial about this?

    One might question the very existence of a plugin that generates links to “random pages”, and one might ask whether this is the very type of thing upon which search engines would frown. That one might be me, and it might be you, and it might be many others who install the free version of this plugin, hoping for something more.

    I question the random links. I’m not fully interested in how serach engines work – they can change their algorhytm. I do care most about the readability of a page and the usefullness of links for the reader. Just placing links because they need to be placed for a search engine, could be bad when they change their rules. As this is just ‘too easy’. I’d rather send my readers to useful pages which make sense when they click on the link. And that’s what you offer in the paid version which is better.

    Thank you for great explanation! In additionally I want to say, that the plugin can’t make harm for the site through “not relevant linking”.
    Through using of internal linking plugin the readability of the site is really growing.
    Readability of the site is growing even not with the relevant content. The reason for that is the INTERNAL (not external!) linking. It was tested by our team on hundreds of sites.
    About “usefulness of links for the reader” the Mr/Mrs phidippides can’t understand, because he/she tries to make custom relevant linking within free plugin version.

    @phidippides
    The only negative that you can do for your site with the help of irrelevant links is the incorrect weight distribution on the site’s sub-pages. (Creating internal linking)

    So if I don’t want random links appearing, what exactly is the point of the free plugin version?

    That’s not true. The big negative of irrelevant links is that it creates confusion for readers and can cause them to leave the site. The entire purpose of hyperlinks is to create meaningful connections between words and other pages; if these connections become unmeaningful, they undermine the purpose of their very existence.

    So if I don’t want random links appearing, what exactly is the point of the free plugin version?

    There are many usages of FREE plugin, but as for you:
    1. Open you WordPress dashboard;
    2. Select articles suitable to the same category, and add them to this category;
    3. Using plugin create linking inside of this category;
    (The plugin will create internal linking between added articles)
    For example you can push internal link creating directly from “Category’s” page of your WordPress dashboard.
    4. Do not forget to change your review for our plugin!

    Within PRO plugin it’s possible to have all internal links under own control and create links using relevancy.

    That’s not true. The big negative of irrelevant links is that it creates confusion for readers and can cause them to leave the site.

    You are too theoretical.
    “can cause them” – it WILL cause him to leave the site anyway, and it doesn’t matter if you have relevance or not. Irrelevant links you can see everywhere, even on Wikipedia.

    if these connections become unmeaningful, they undermine the purpose of their very existence

    Only for EXTERNAL links it will undermine the purpose of links (link SPAM) and NOT for INTERNAL links. For the owner of the site all pages of his site are important and all the subpages should fall into the index of the search engine. Google & other Search Engines knows about it.

    Some of the main points of the free plugin version is:
    1. Create internal linking to show you, that’s technically works (through WordPress rules we can’t make trial version);
    2. Create internal linking separately within one or each category;
    3. Allows each page of the site to get into the index of the search engine and thereby bring visitors to the site owner;

    All we do is based on statistics and analytics of many hundreds of websites that we ourselves conduct. We use not only theory, but also logic, practical knowledge and many tests.
