There is a second way of displaying: numbers that act as links to votes.
If you can show me what you want it to look like, i could consider to implement it. ( It should at least be of general useability and fit into the design of wppa+ ).
Hi, thanks for coming back to me. It was just a single button with the word “Vote”. I would like the number of votes to be hidden from public view until the end of the competition but available for admin to see them. Then once the winner was announced I could show the votes to the members.
If it’s any use to you I know there’s a lot of WP members out there looking for something like this as I’ve been trying to find it for a couple of weeks and keep seeing threads of people asking for this kind of facility.

I can bump it on my priority list, but it still will take one or two weeks to implement.
Maybe in the mean time, use css to hide the stars 2..5, an use a different image for the star. The number of votes is counted anyway, and voting only one stars this way will be compatible with my solution, so you can start letting them vote.
Thanks for coming back to me. I will try to find the stars coding in the CSS and make it so they just have one.
