Verifying zanox in wp

Hi there,

first of all, I am not a coder so this problem may seem ridiculous to many of you, but for me it is a real challenge. I have a zanox account and need to verify my site. zanox provides the meta code and I am supposed to add it to the “head section of the index file”. I tried to do it using the ftp, then I got a bunch of error messages on my frontpage. Used the ftp since I could not get the editor to work. I am afraid to do something wrong, messing with the code.

Could anyone please help me verify my site? Getting a bit desperate here.
