I want to rephrase my question. I read about rel publisher and rel author in your support forum. I have made several posts without adding Google+ profile in general settings.
I understand that I should use Google+ business page for the default (rel publisher) and to create a user and add the personal Google+ profile (rel-author).
However, I did not create another user and made posts. How do I revert this and ensure the real author will be used for my already existing posts?

Here is what Google says about Authorship:
An author must be a person, you can only verify authorship using the Google+ profile of a person, you cannot use the Google+ profile of a business to verify authorship.
A publisher can be a business. Publisher does not need verification but the Google+ profile for publisher must be linked to the Google+ profile of the author.
To my knowledge you cannot create a business Google+ profile without first logging in as a person which would be the Google+ profile you use as the author because that’s the linked profile.
To set Google Author in All in One SEO Pack edit your profile or set the Default Google+ Profile under All in One SEO, General Settings, Google Settings (http://semperplugins.com/documentation/google-settings/).

I did create the business page with my profile, yes. For rel author, I set my personal profile under google settings, correct? How do I set my business page to be rel publisher?
