    Hi there,

    It sounds like the permalinks need to be flushed, or there may be a conflict with another plugin. Please try these steps:

    1. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click “Save Changes” (without changing anything).

    2. If that doesn’t work, there may be a permalink overlap with another plugin. Let’s change the permalink for Venues on the same page. The default is “venue”. You could try “venues” or “location”, for example.

    Hi,

    I tried the suggestions above and still no luck. I deactivated all the plugins except sportspress and tried different themes.

    Any other thoughts? Everything else works great. I really like the import feature.

    One other note is that this install is on a sub domain. Could that be effecting it?

    Hi again!

    The venue pages might not display if there are no events published at that venue. Let’s go to Events > Venues. There are 3 columns for each venue: Name, Address, and Events. If the number of events is 0, the venue will display a 404 because it has nothing to display.

    That is the case. The number of events display as 0. There are many events that I have imported and are listed with the various venues. How should I proceed. A couple events entered manually but all the venues show no events.

    One other thing, if I look at the venue page and click on the ‘0’ in the number of events column it take me to a page that shows all the events for that venue.

    Thanks for the additional info. The current version of the plugin will only display venues if at least one event is published at that venue. The next update will include a filter that works around this to display all past and future events in venue archives automatically 🙂

    Got it, Thanks. I found if I add the following (?post_type=sp_event)to the venue link I can get the page. So I can setup some links for now.

    Hi again!

    We’ve just released SportsPress version 0.8 which contains a fix for this issue. In the new version, venue pages will display all past and future events 🙂
