VAT changes layout

    Hi, i have an issue with the layout when i try to “Show prices during ordering and checkout including VAT”.

    Without this option the layout looks great but prices are shows without VAT (in cart and checkout), i want however to show it with VAT but this screws with the layout (see screenshots)

    I thought initially this was an issue with my theme (porto) but they claim they have nothing to do with this.

    Hi there!

    I agree that it looks like a theme issue – have you tried switching to a different one to see if that makes a difference? You can use Health Check to easily switch back and forth without losing any of your settings.

    If that doesn’t help, can you please copy and paste the system report for this site? You can find it under WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.

    I’ve tried 2 standard themes and here are the results:

    They did not fundamentally change, but They both look alright i would be fine with it looking like this. It seems to be an issue with font size and positioning.

    I did the health check, and everything seems to be alright other then running an older version of PHP (7.3)

    Hi @thanklessmoss,

    Thanks for the screenshots, seems that the font is showing up correctly with other themes. Thus, you can reach out to the Porto theme authors to take another look based on this info.

    The totals show up as Totaal €295.95 (inclusief €51.36 BTW) because at WooCommerce → Settings → Tax, you’ve set up Cart and Checkout pages to display prices including tax. If you’d like to split up the tax from the totals (removes the inclusief €51.36 BTW), change that setting to excluding tax.
