Variation with commas (escaping commas)

Is there a way to include a variation that has commas in it?

Example:
Term title: KFC
Variations: “kit fence carpet” and “kit, fence, carpet”
(it’s a vernacular term in playground design for anyone curious)

I tried escaping with backslashes, and surrounding with quotes, but neither worked. It still separated at every comma.
