Vantage Theme meta slider

I am new to wordpress. I am trying to change the homepage slides on the vantage theme. The demo/starter theme I downloaded already has the slides in them but I don’t know where to change them….I decided to download and install the meta slider myself…I have created my slideshow…I just don’t know where to put the new metaslider code to replace the current slides that are there…?? Can anyone help or direct me??

Hi all, I can’t remove my Slider. My Themes home page is set to None for Page Meta Slider – I even toggled it to Slider: New Slider and then back to None, but there it is:

@pdean. Check that you don’t also have a slider added under Pages > Home: check the MetaSlider drop down in the right column.

The Meta Slider comments were for @pdean, the person who posted before you. This is unfortunately one of the challenges with trying to answer multiple questions on a single thread.
