Using Captchas

Hello there!
I’m not sure if anybody is around to answer my question, seems like the plugin hasn’t an update in a long time, but I feel lucky.
I’m trying to add a captcha to form-post.php. Sadly I don’t understand how the submit button works, the form seems to use some ajax command but not the form action. Can anybody explain to my, how and where I have to embedd the verification code of the captcha?
