    Is this reality today?

My (self-hosted wp) site was last put together in 2019 and php has moved on since then. It’s fine with php 7.4 but soon my host will mandate 8.3+ and, of course, that breaks my site.

Claude Code has been suggested to me as an option for a fix.

Back to my first line, is this reality today or are the pitfalls too much to take a chance? Thanks!

    Hi @billnanson –

Based on what you wrote here, this issue doesn’t sound specific to the Jetpack plugin, so we can’t advise on the best path forward.

I’d recommend reaching out to your host for assistance as they may have logging and other tools that can help you determine exactly what is breaking when you switch to PHP v8.3. Alternatively, you might want to consider asking for advice in the general support forums:

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved since it doesn’t involved Jetpack. However, if you have questions about Jetpack in the future, feel free to open a new thread.
