User’s Passwords Not Encrypting Properly

    Greetings,

    I’m having an issue where new users are not able to log in. New user’s passwords are not being hashed correctly and thus resulting in an “Incorrect Login password or username” message.

    All passwords are being stored as, “*0”.

    It had not been updated for quite some time so I updated it today thinking it would fix it but it did not.

    Hi Darkyj,

    You say it had not been updated for quite some time, so I’m assuming you’ve been using the plugin for a while. Did this issue only just start recently? Did the logging in ever work? If so, then what might have changed recently in your WordPress (new plugin, new theme, updated plugin, changed a setting in our plugin, etc.)? I ask because this definitely sounds like there’s some kind of conflict, perhaps with another plugin. If you deactivate all other plugins, does the registration and login work? If still no, then could you provide us with links to your registration and login pages?
