    Hi There,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. Do you want the FAQ to not be searchable in the site or from google search? We have planned a release where we are disabling the index of single faq page.

If you want to disable it in search within site, there are many free search plugins that would exclude specific posts from search like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-exclude/.

You can know more about it here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-exclude-specific-pages-authors-and-more-from-wordpress-search/ , https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-limit-search-results-for-specific-post-types-in-wordpress/

    2. You cannot change the URL of individual faq’s for now. I have added this to our list of ideas. I will make sure to let you know once this is pushed up. Thanks much for this suggestion.

    3. Unfortunately, this is not possible. However, we would try for a similar work-around in the future.

Hope that clarifies all your questions. Let me know if there is anything else I could help you with.

    Kind Regards.

    Hi pauplesupport,

    1. Thanks for the reply! On second thought, it’s probably best not to disable it on the sitewide search unless a user can be pointed to the same FAQ on the FAQ page via the sitewide search.

    2. Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.
Two other things I noticed with the plugin:

    4) The built-in search for the FAQ only seems to pull an answer based on the first two words. Is there a way to make it longer?
    5) One more suggestion: If there are no FAQ that coincide with a users typed-in question, have a message that says, “No FAQ Found” or similar. Right now, it’s just blank.

    Great plugin.

    Thanks!

    Hi There,

    1. I don’t think this is possible.

4&5. We already have this in our backlog. I will make sure to let you know once this is pushed up.

Could you please give us your email address so that I could contact you once this is ready?

You can provide us your email address by creating a ticket at pauple.freshdesk.com if you do not want to share your details public.

    Kind Regards.

@sterndata Sorry about that. Although I mentioned that he could use our ticket, I will make it clear hereafter not to send the details here publicly (but only to our ticket).

    Thanks much for the warning.

    Kind Regards.

Just FYI, I’m in the same situation described by the original poster.
