I have a custom plugin that helps non-technical (but still trusted) users manage different versions of one specific file; the plugin assures that the file is uploaded to the correct location where crawlers can find it on a regular basis. For ease-of-use, I am bypassing the media library, because I don’t want my users to have to browse to a specific folder to upload the file properly, and I don’t really want them to have edit access anywhere else anyway.

The uploads are blocked by the Security plugin. Is there any way I can whitelist a specific file, folder, plugin, or user, or disable upload scanning in the first place? Only 3-5 trusted users have access to upload anything anyway, otherwise sign-up is not possible on our site.

    Hello,

You can try disabling the ‘Run the Upload Checker module for uploaded files’ option here:

WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Security by Cleantalk -> General settings tab

    Did it help?
