Unclear about settings.

I’m confused about setup.

The General tab has a ‘Check each link’ setting, enabling links to be checked every X hours.

The Advanced tab has a ‘Link monitor’ setting- with options to run 1) continuously while dashboard is open and 2) hourly in the background.

I notice that if neither of these Advanced tab options are selected, it seems links aren’t checked – which seems to contradict the ‘checked every X hours’ setting.

My incorrect assumption was that the ‘check every x hours’ option was enough.
