Do you have previous successful installation of WooCommerce and “Facebook for WooCommerce” for the same Commerce Manager account (shop, pixel, etc)?

Let’s see what is causing this. Is your Facebook in English? If not, please follow the steps below and try the connection again:
- Change your WordPress site language to English under WP Admin > Settings > General
- Change your WooCommerce store currency to USD under WooCommerce > Settings > General
If the problem persists, please share your current System Status Report. You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button. Then paste it here in a comment.

Same is happening to me
I have other, older sites connected (Woocommerce to facebook)
But this most recently built site has the same issue :-
“Something went wrong when connecting to facebook!” and “PixelID is Missing”

Note – process displays ‘Sell your products on Facebook’ Activated
Return to woocommerce integration, Which is when I get the ‘Something went wrong when connecting to facebook!
Pixel ID is missing’ error
Weird thing is that if I click back in browser i get the page ‘You’ve previously linked WooCommerce Integration to Facebook ‘
Would you like to continue with your previous settings? Which just takes me round the same process with the same error
Webpage developer > view page source, shows the correct pixelID

OKay, really weird now
I have another facebook profile so I granted access to this user in commerce manager
Then accepted invitations
Then signed in website admin and started the woocommerce/facebook plugin proces
Hey presto site is now connected
Dont know how or why as I am not that technical but it workd

Thanks for sharing the system status report.
I see that you have both:
– Facebook for WordPress: by Facebook – 3.0.6 and
– Facebook for WooCommerce: by Facebook – 2.6.12active.
As a next step, please do the following:
– Deactivate Facebook for WordPress
– Go back to WooCommerce > Facebook , uninstall Facebook and click “Get Started” again

When I try to do this I get the following message on “Connect Facebook Page” for my site: Page is associated with a commerce account that sells onsite. This partner does not currently support onsite checkout.
Never mind, I think I got around that, but it’s going to be a problem. Part of the reason we wanted to do this was because FB has a pending balance they owe us and won’t pay it out whithout a store…but i’m not sure they’ll pay it out if we’re using our own checkout either.
