Hello, I have installed File Away for the first time and I’m unable to set a base directory. I’m guessing that the installation inserted a base directory (it has a value of /homepages/20/d156318777/htdocs/ArundelStriders/ ) but I can’t edit it, and when I try to use File Away I see the message “Your Base Directory is not set.” I fear I’m missing something really obvious here. Thanks for your help.

Yes, insert your cursor AFTER the path you see in the base directory, and start typing.

Thom, above is an good example, of key weakness of this plugin. Somewhat peculiar UI.
There are people to which things are not “obvious”.
UI should/could be (re)done in such a way so that first time users are not put away, with “obvious” which they need to “figure out” …
For example “base directory” non editable base (left) part should not be inside the input element. Many first time users, find it “obvious” if something is inside “edit field” it is editable. Me included.

Or … we have “File Up” instead of “File Upload” or just “Upload” .. yet another ever annoying peculiarity.

Please accept this as constructive comment …
