I have to also disagree with the ‘lacks all usability’ statement. I’m running the free version on my church’s website. It works great and looks great. It also works well on mobile devices. Editing events is quick and easy.

The main advantage to purchasing the Pro version (in my opinion) is to be able to change the color scheme. But the default Blue Scheme works fine for my purposes. In fact you would expect the WebDorado folks to hold back tech support unless you first pay for the full version but that’s not how it is. Their excellent, one-day, tech support happens regardless of whether you have the paid or the free version. If there are any usability issues here, I don’t see them.

The only drawback to the free version is not being able to specify a few display options (color, etc.). Otherwise it works perfectly. And their tech support, even for the free versions, is simply too good to be true. Really.
