Twitter error code 68 – New API – not working

    I found this plugin after other Twitter plugins haven’t switched to the new Twitter API. It seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. I can’t get it to work with the new Twitter API either. This is the error code I am getting in entirety:

    Problem retrieving data from Twitter

    Twitter error code: 68 – The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. https://dev.twitter.com/docs/api/1.1/overview.

    lease check the Twitter name in the widget or shortcode, Rotating Tweets settings or the Twitter API status.

    I’m using version 1.4.7 of the plugin.
