Hi @sdagency, please provide the URL for a post or page where this is happening.
This is not the actual link but a short link to the page. I’d prefer for the real link to not be searchable here: https://tinyurl.com/twlink123
Once you go there, copy the real link of the page and try to post to Twitter. It should show the black and white image of the women, but it does not. It shows the host’s photo.
When I check OpenGraph checkers it shows the right photo of the women.
Thanks.
The Twitter image you’ve set for that page is the one with the women. If you’re seeing different results when sharing a post on Twitter, it’s probably because they have cached their previous scraping results. You can validate your post and try to force them to clear their cache using this tool – https://johnwarrenmedia.com/relentless-truth/social-darwinism-and-society/. Other than that you can only wait until they clear their cache, which typically takes a few days.
Yeah, kinda wanted to keep that client link out of the post, but whatever.
I think you meant to post a link to the tool to force refresh of their cache.
If you would edit your post that would be great. I will try it, however, the site is brand new and we just cut it on to search engines and the public, so I’m unsure how they could have an old image, plus other platforms like Facebook show the correct image.
Thanks.
UPDATE: Just tried this site: https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator and it showed the correct image. Went back out to Twitter and tried the post and it is showing an earlier image we used of the two women we have replaced. So I guess there is a horrible lag in Twitter’s cache.
Still be great if you removed that client link from your last post. Thanks!

@jdembowski would you be able to remove the link in my reply? I’m afraid that I messed that up.
No worries? Can you edit out the client URL in your previous post for me? Thanks so much.
