Thanks for trying our plugin!
1. For the language, please add missing translations here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/customer-reviews-woocommerce/stable/es/default/?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated
2. The problem is caused by some plugin or maybe theme that adds “onclick” event to the “a” element that includes the picture. The first step to solve it is to understand which plugin is responsible for adding this “onclick” code. Can you please review plugins installed on your site and let me know?
Thank you for checking on issue #2. I’ll take it from here.
Regarding the tranlations:
1. Customer images
2. Most recent (Combobox)
3. Show more (Lazy load button.)
They are not listed as translations strings in the .po file. Also I was not able to find them in the link you kindly provided. This is not an issue with missing Spanish translation, I am refering to missing the ability to translate those strings.
No worries!
As far as I understand how WordPress translation system works, .po files provided with the plugin are not used after a translation is available in the online WordPress repository. Spanish is already in the online repository, so .po file is downloaded from there. The .po file that comes with the plugin’s installation files is not used.
“Customer Images” – is on the link I sent (please scroll to the bottom)
“Most recent” – is already translated: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/customer-reviews-woocommerce/stable/es/default/?filters%5Bterm%5D=Most+Recent&filters%5Bterm_scope%5D=scope_originals&filters%5Bstatus%5D=current_or_waiting_or_fuzzy_or_untranslated&filters%5Buser_login%5D=&filter=Apply+Filters&sort%5Bby%5D=priority&sort%5Bhow%5D=desc
“Show more” – I couldn’t find it, we will check why
I am not sure how exactly works, but I do believe the local files are being used.
I am using Loco translate, I found customer-reviews-woocommerce-nl_NL contains all those translations (Including Show more), so I have synced the strings of my translation file to nl_NL instead of es_ES.
I am a little bit surprised there is no consitency across the translation files included in the Plugin inside languages folder.
Thanks for all your help, and quick support. I do not have further inquiries.
Congratulations, your plugin is awesome.
nl_NL file is used because there is no translation for Dutch language yet in the online WordPress repository.
Did you submit missing Spanish translations at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/customer-reviews-woocommerce/stable/es/default/?filters%5Bstatus%5D=untranslated ? I cannot see any new translations there.
We haven’t heard from you for more than two weeks. For this reason, I’ll assume that either you are not interested in this question/problem anymore or it has been resolved. If this is not the case, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
