    Hi There
Great plugin, but we found the translated installation (that is, with phrases translated) doesn’t send any notification emails to the commenters. They get only the first subscribe/unsubscribe email, but then, no more. Also the admin/autor doesn’t got the “new comment” email -he gets it only with the option for moderation activated.

We have checked this situation without error from our part: we have a dedicated server with two WordPress installations, one in english, one in spanish -and the Apache, PHP, mySQL, etc configs are the same for both. The english WP install works nice with all details related to WPdiscuz: it sends the notification emails, alerts the autor/admin, etc. But the spanish WP installation with the WPdiscuz translated phrases, doesn’t work, as we described.

You should check this, as this is not the first issue related to your translation features. Thanks

Thanks, guys. For more light about the issue, we’re checking now with another comments email notification plugin (‘Subscribe to Comments Reloaded’) and all is working like a charm.

We changed also the transactional email delivery to Mailchimp SMTP servers (‘Mandrill’).
    Thanks

    Hi,
We just released wpDiscuz 2.1.5 version. Please update and check those again.

Great! Tested with the english installation and works really nice. Great update also, with the plural string and the separated strings panel.

We’ll check now the spanish translation in a few moments and I will tell you. Thanks for your help and work.
    Best,

I upgraded today and the email notification system started to work great, but I had to deactivate the plugin to fix another unrelated problem, and when I activated again, the notifications didn’t work anymore.

I’m using the brazilian portuguese translation.

I reinstalled and it works again.
Thanks! Keep up the good work

    Hi again
After an intense test over our WPdiscuz installation with spanish translated phrases, the plugin works now like a charm!! All the emails notifications are been sent, both to the authors and subscribed commenters.

Perhaps this is a small bug: when you are over the page, after two or three comments sent, you get sometimes this alert “SyntaxError: Unexpected token C”. Also this string is not included in the available list of phrases.

Thanks guys for your great work and support!

PD. I can provide the spanish translation by request.

    Hi jalvac,
Thank you, it would be great to have Spanish translation in wpDiscuz. Please send it to support[at]gvectors.com email address.

Ok, we’ll check this issue, and let you know if this is a wpDiscuz issue. Because some servers running mod_pagespeed have that module configured so aggressively that it’s actually interfering with js/jQuery on WordPress sites. It might be worth having a word with your hosts to see if this is what caused your problem and whether they can tweak their mod_pagespeed settings to stop this happening.
