Transcript emails sending from wordpress@domain.com

    Hi,

    My transcript emails are sending with the name as “WordPress” and with the email address formatted as “wordpress@domain.com”.

    Is it possible to add a “From” section to the “Chat Transcript Settings” area on the plugin’s General Settings tab that configures the “From” header in the email? I know when WP doesn’t detect a “From” setting it automatically adds “wordpress” as the sender name and appends it to the front of the from email address. It would make sense that we should be able to configure that from within the plugin settings.

    I found a closed thread here on the same topic that was unresolved. Any plans for a solution on this?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for getting in touch, we do appreciate your time on this one.

    Unfortunately, this is not currently supported without making core changes to the plugin, which is not advised.

    We will definitely consider adding support for this in a future release.
