Thumbnail Image Alignment Not Working Correctly

I have everything working as expected but have a question… some of my posts include just an image (no text), and others include both an image and text.
On the posts with just an image, the image is not justified in the center of the slideshow area even though I’ve selected “Align to Center” in the options it still shows on the left.
I tried changing the “Align to” options to left or right, and the post title gets displayed next to the image. BUT, if I select “center”, the post title disappears from the slider (which is what I want) but the image itself is not centered.
I don’t want to make it a “Make pure Image Slider” because some slides have text which I want displayed.
What am I missing?
