tag search problem

    Hi, for a few days my site is crashing because of the plugin “The Events Calendar”, checking the logs I find thousands of searches on the tags. How can I block them and solve the problem? thanks

    for example:

    GET /eventi/tag/campionato-italiano-****-***-***/elenco/?tribe-bar-date=2024-01-20 HTTP/1.0
    GET /eventi/tag/compagnia-medievale/elenco/?tribe-bar-date=2024-08-17 HTTP/1.0
    GET /eventi/tag/pier-paolo-*****/giorno/2021-02-06/?outlook-ical=1 HTTP/1.0

    Hi @emanuelaedt ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    The best way to block The Events Calendar tag page requests would be through your WebHost’s firewall. The firewall could be configured to block wildcard URL patterns (or path) — i.e. /eventi/tag/* so traffic does not go through your site.
