Subsite Users: Insufficient Permission?

    Hi there,

    I’m running multisite. On one of my subsites, when I try to go to pending users (it says there is 1), I get this error message:

    You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    I am using my superadmin ID, which is also an admin of that site. When I switch to another admin ID, there does not show 1 pending user at all. And if I go to my multisite users (user superadmin), there is nothing pending there, either.

    Does anyone know why this would be or what I could be doing wrong? I’m relatively new to multisite.

    Is this happening every time you add a new user? Or just with this one user?

    Where did you add the user: in the dashboard of the subsite? or in the Network admin dashboard?

    Do you have any plugins that deal with user management running?

    There is a plugin that may help you fix this one instance, but if it’s a recurring issue, you will want to figure out what is happening.

    Hi Bet!

    Thanks for replying. I’m not sure what the issue is. I do have Unconfirmed already downloaded. I don’t show any other users as pending. I did not add this user myself.

    I am able to see the users on my primary domain using Unconfirmed, but I get that weird error message on my subsite. At least I’ve been able to use that as a workaround.

    I’m investigating some other issues going on that might be related. I’ll let you know if the issue gets fixed or not, but if you have any insights in the meantime, I’d be glad to hear them.

    Hi zanzaboonda!

    Hmmm… I wonder if there was something weird about the way that user got added, or if something hiccuped in the creation process. Can you replicate the issue with other new users added?

    I haven’t been able to, no. And I’ve added users and had some users join on their own. This is the only one, so far. It’s just kind of weird. This was someone who created their own account. I’m not sure what they could have done differently. I’ll reach out to them, though. Or maybe resend the activation e-mail.

    I have the exact same problem. The users where added like they should.
